Purpose
At Impello, we believe that design should be action driven and
result focused. As design applies to planning and thought, our
goal is always simplicity. Why did you come to us in the first
place? We are here to help you sell your product and to sell
yourself. We are here to make your business better. We are here
because you want to influence, motivate and impress new people.
We are not here to make pretty art, or to impress our colleagues.
We are pleased when you look good. We are thrilled when you succeed.
Underlying every project we undertake, there is always a purpose.
It is this purpose that fuels the creative process and extends into
the development process. Purpose is the first Impello Foundation.
We see purpose as the engine that inspires design.
Integrity
Good design is easily recognized. People see it through emotional
responses and visual cognition. They get a feeling about picture,
or remember something because of a color or sound. Connotations
are strong and usually culturally dependant. A good communicator
will take advantage of all the cumulative memories that grow around
imagery and sensory cues. When good writing is combined with strong
visual design, a powerful message emerges. The message tells your
story. The message is our ally for helping you succeed.
How do you look to yourself? How do you look to others? These
are essential questions to finding identity. Identity is you, in
a nutshell. Your personality, your way of speaking, your way of
behaving are all reflective of your identity. As designers, we
help you discover your identity. When your identity is realized,
it is time to talk about brand.
We think of brand as being like clothing. It is something that
can change and evolve through time. Clothing may not make the man,
but it certainly does a lot for first impressions. Our goal at
Impello is to help you take ownership of your brand. We find out
who you are and suggest ways to dress. We call that process Iterative
Brand Construction. This is a methodical step-by-step
technique for tailoring your brand to suit your identity.
Iterative Brand
Construction helps us make your appearance seamless, complete
and consistent. The result is our second Impello Foundation: integrity.
Integrity is not accidental. It is the steadfast adherence to understanding
identity and expressing it in a cohesive manner. We take brands
and make you believe in them.
Delivery
The one thing that every one of our clients have in common, and
the common thread ties us together with them is the desire to succeed.
Success, although measured in many ways, is achieved through perseverance
and strategy. Our focus is on strategy, and more directly, on the
tangible and intangible aspects of design. What does design mean
to us? A good plan? Yes. A better way to communicate? Absolutely.
Design is a concept, and an application. As we apply it, design
manifests itself as a brochure, a website, a logo, an advertisement,
and so on.
As we conceive of it, design is a way of thinking and making sense
of the world around us. Success, as we see it, is a simple path.
Come up with a good idea and execute it. Where plan and action
meet is at the core of the final Impello Foundation; Delivery.
You cannot succeed by simply talking about it. Our driving
force is getting it out on paper, putting it into print, giving
it life in motion video and audio, or publishing it on the
internet. Impello is in the business of delivery. We design for
