Biovantage advances research to reality in healthcare. We operate at the forefront of biomedical engineering. Our mission is to transform promising concepts into clinical solutions that are effective, practical and commercially viable. Biovantage plays a vital role in developing new medical devices, therapeutic products and treatment delivery solutions that dramatically improve hospital efficiency and patient care. Biovantage is an independent non-profit corporation and an Alberta Innovates Technology Futures Centre of Excellence. Our headquarters are located on the University of Calgary campus.

The Challenge

Biovantage sought to develop understanding with a diverse group of professionals in the advanced medical research community. As part of the University of Calgary Advanced Medical Research initiative, a distinctive brand message was required to differentiate the business from other groups operting under a similar umbrella. While diverse in expertise, the Biovantage team needed to bring their special focus on realizing tangible medical innovations through hands on business partnership development.

The Solution

Impello worked collaboratively to develop a central Brand Personality Profile for Biovantage, using our Identify™ Brand Profiling system. The process helped the stakeholders create a common understanding of the brand message, and a focus for the specific sectors of their audience.

Impello created a logo based on the personality profile, as well as design & layout applications in print and online.
