The Medical Ward of the 21st Century operates within the University of Calgary Research and Innovation Centre. As a living laboratory for the advancement of Health Care, the W21C is where researches, health care professionals and industry partners come together to form multidisciplinary and collaborative research partnerships.
Their vision is to define the future of health care.
As a complex and dynamic organization, the W21C is full of busy professionals whose attention is constantly in demand. However to ensure the future development and operation of the W21C, communication and recognition of who is involved, and what they stand for, is absolutely vital.
Working with an existing brand concept, the Impello creative team worked with W21C stakeholders to define a clearly structured message in preparation for the grand opening of the Research and Innovation Centre. A digital-media presentation was developed to augment a speakers presentation at the event, along with printed take-away materials and event signage; all designed to convey the primary vision and spirit of the organization.
The message focused on the individual people who make the W21C a reality, within a theme of collaboration and learning.
